Back in November of a year ago, Nextbit began a shut beta program for its Android 7.0 Nougat refresh for the Robin cell phone. Many forms and numerous months after the fact, today the last type of that refresh is at long last going out to all Nextbit Robin proprietors. Obviously, as this is an organized rollout, it might take a while before it achieves all units in nature. In any case, it is coming.
When you introduce the new programming, you’ll be running Android 7.0, form 88, with the January 5, 2017 security fix level.
As you’d expect, this form packs everything that Google incorporated with the main Nougat cycle. In the no so distant past we’ve seen a Robin getting benchmarked with Android 7.1.1 on board, so ideally the beta forms for that will begin soon – since Nextbit guaranteed to keep programming support for the Robin alive until 2018, in spite of being obtained by Razer two or three months prior.
